I'm satisfied with my collaboration with Claude. The code Claude suggested had a few flaws, and was not structured optimally.
That said, after a few hours of refactoring and debugging, I had a good product. Would I have produced the final code as quickly without Claude's assistance? Definitely not!
My conclusion is that using AI for coding assistance is worth the effort. As long as you are prepared to deal with a few bugs, poor optimizations, and less than ideal structure, it can help you deliver better, faster. That's a win.
